Casualty and Mass Tort Associate

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Casualty and Mass Tort Associate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support the firm in handling complex litigation cases involving mass torts and casualty claims, working closely with senior attorneys to provide exceptional legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents related to mass torts and casualty claims.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing litigation cases.
  • Draft and respond to motions, including summary judgment and dismissal motions.
  • Participate in depositions, taking notes and providing support to senior attorneys during proceedings.
  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather relevant information and evidence for cases.
  • Prepare case summaries and reports to keep senior attorneys informed of case progress and developments.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation, preferably in mass tort or casualty law.
  • Strong understanding of legal procedures and court rules.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
