Job Opportunity: Tax Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated Tax Supervisor/Manager to join our team of accounting professionals. Responsibilities:

Lead and manage corporate, individual, and partnership tax engagements.
Review complex tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1041, 709, 990, 5500, and others.
Provide expert tax planning advice for a diverse range of clients.
Identify and address uncertain tax positions, and prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions.
Perform detailed tax research and prepare technical tax analyses and memos.
Supervise and mentor tax staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results and fostering professional growth.

Must-Haves:

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in public accounting or a mix of corporate and public accounting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience with tax return preparation for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.

Nice-to-Haves:

Familiarity with CaseWare Working Papers software and paperless tax environments.
Experience with tax research tools such as CCH Axcess.
