Our firm is seeking a motivated and talented Sr. Tax Manager ranging with 4+ years of experience to add to our tax department. We offer a flexible work environment to meet your needs as well as the support of traditional office spaces at both of our locations.
Responsibilities include:
Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S-corporations
Handle federal and state income tax audits as appropriate
Prepare tax research and tax projections
Anticipate, identify and resolve complex project issues
Support the team in identifying and planning the development of strategy, objectives and budgets
Identify and develop new initiatives
Engage in ongoing personal development
Requirements:
-5+ years of public accounting experience
-Bachelors in Accounting
-CPA required
- Overall knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures
- Knowledge of accounting software systems a plus (CCH Engagement)
-Proficiency in use of MS Office software (Excel, Outlook & Word)
-Excellent written and verbal communication + interpersonal skills
-Strong analytical, accounting research and problem-solving skills required
