Superintendent

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage multifamily construction projects. The Superintendent will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also providing field supervision and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Manage and supervise field personnel and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Coordinate and manage project budgets, including contract negotiations and change orders.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, including RFI (Requests for Information) and scheduling updates.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to communicate project status and address any issues that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding construction practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, preferably with multifamily and affordable housing projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, field supervision, and renovation techniques.
  • Excellent contract negotiation skills and experience managing change orders.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain project schedules effectively.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with clients and subcontractors.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
