Position Overview

We are a well-established engineering consulting firm offering nationwide wireless infrastructure site development services to commercial wireless carriers, utility companies, the military, and government entities aiming to expand, upgrade, or maintain their wireless networks. Our expertise lies in site acquisition, project management, and technical construction services.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Structural Engineer with telecom or commercial experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. This position requires strong project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

This is a remote position, though our headquarters are based in NY.

Key Responsibilities

Design and analyze structural systems for various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
Manage site development including zoning, permitting, and construction processes.
Conduct constructability reviews and develop site sketches for project proposals.
Review title reports and coordinate with real estate transactions to ensure land use compatibility.
Engage in community meetings to discuss project plans and address public concerns.
Maintain client databases and provide project updates to stakeholders.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Experience in wireless site development and telecommunications projects.
Strong knowledge of site acquisition, zoning, and permitting processes.
Proficiency in project management and construction oversight.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct community meetings and engage with stakeholders.
