Based in the heart of Irving, TX, we are an events based company that provides marketing management to enterprise-level clients. Due to growth and demand for our services, we are looking for a PHP Web Developer that possesses strong experience with PHP, MySQL, Laravel.
The ideal PHP Developer is self-motivated, creative, and excited about developing solid solutions for our next generation web platform. The PHP Developer will collaborate with internal program managers to translate complex business initiatives into innovative solutions. A can-do-attitude, with the ability to energize and work with cross-functional teams is required. Our organization works with Fortune 100 clients to design, develop, and support web applications for marketing promotions and global incentive programs. The individual selected for this position will be challenged to drive a high level of service excellence (internally and externally).

Responsibilities
- Transition current production code from the Zend 1 ecosystem to the Laravel 5 ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain new features across multiple subsystems utilizing our Ignite platform.
- Produce stable solutions and ensure that all code is well documented, with automated tests.
- Collaborate with development team members to ensure the implementation and regular reinforcement of best practices.
Qualifications Required
- 4+ years of PHP web development experience writing OO code that is scalable, performant, and secure.
- 3+ years of experience with Laravel
- 3+ years of experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
- Knowledge of reactive JavaScript frameworks, preferably VueJS.
- Source code management, Git, Bitbucket
- Experience with application architecture and SOLID principles.
- Experience with consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience creating functional and unit test cases.
Bonus skills:
- Experience with the Laravel ecosystem (Homestead, Forge, Envoyer, Horizon etc.) and packages (Mix, Dusk, Echo, Scout, Socialite etc.)
- Experience with queues/workers in a distributed workload system. Supervisor and Redis preferred.
- HTML, CSS (LESS, SASS), Bootstrap, jQuery, Gulp/Grunt/Webpack, AWS, Redis.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
