We are currently seeking a senior level IT Systems Engineer with direct experience working with IT systems used in a retail setting/environment, WITH SPECIFIC GROCERY STORE/CHAIN/Environment experience.
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's technology infrastructure, ensuring that all systems are running efficiently and effectively in all of our locations, from the company headquarters to our retail locations throughout the area.
This role involves managing IT projects, supporting retail IT systems, and ensuring the optimal performance of point of sale systems in a retail environment.
Experience we would be looking for includes:
Overall Tech/Systems support experience, in a senior or lead/manager level role (Hands on) in a GROCERY/RETAIL SETTING.
Experience with day to day technology including POS/Point of Sale systems, Networking/communication systems, Data Storage/Data Tracking/Cloud Data management, experience with ERP/MRP systems used in inventory planning, ordering, tracking, etc.
Experience working with sensitive/secure data, including financial, payment and payment processing, and other data in a professional and trusted manner.
Strong communication, collaboration, organizational and planning skills are a must.
An ability to work in a corporate setting, and/or an onsite store setting, with end-users at all levels of tech savvy, is a must.
An ability to work ONSITE in the Irvine/Orange County CA location, AND an ability/willingness to travel regularly in the region to individual retail sites, is a must. Travel will not be EXTENSIVE, but it will be regular and local.
This will be a Senior, maybe even MANAGER level role, but will be ABSOLUTELY hands-on and we need this person to be happy with regular, hands-on work, but with bigger picture, strategic decision making skills, including budgeting, Upgrade planning, keeping up with market trends and opportunities to improve day to day systems performance.
Again, we are open to those with a variety of experience, BUT to be considered, we need a background WITHING a GROCERY CHAIN/Company setting.
Please note: This role WILL involve onsite work at our various locations, but we are regionally based and it will be approximately 10-20% LOCAL, daily travel to visit local retail sites.
