Senior Air Quality Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Air Quality Engineer to lead our air quality team and ensure compliance with relevant Bay Area regulations and standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and providing technical leadership to a team of engineers, and will work closely with clients to provide solutions to air quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the air quality team to ensure successful project delivery
Provide technical expertise on air quality regulations and standards, including SCAQMD, Title V, CEQA, and NEPA
Develop and implement air quality plans and programs to reduce emissions and improve air quality
Conduct air quality impact assessments and prepare air quality permits
Perform air dispersion modeling and conduct human health and ecological risk assessments (HRAs)
Conduct data analysis and prepare reports on air quality monitoring data
Provide air quality consulting services to clients
Ensure compliance with relevant EPA regulations and standards
Manage and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
Minimum of 10+ years of experience working on air quality projects, including experience with compliance and permitting processes for facilities in CA
Air quality permitting under BAAQMD, SCAQMD, SJVAPCD and other Air Districts, including Title V Permitting
RECLAIM implementation and reporting
Expert level knowledge of Annual Emissions Reporting, Air Dispersion Modeling, Air Quality Assessments - including Data Analysis and Emission Inventories
Strong knowledge of air quality pollutants and emissions
Experience with air dispersion modeling and HRA
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
