Project Manager - Heavy Civil Construction

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Heavy Civil Construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various civil construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and an in-depth understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members, to ensure project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.
Monitor project performance and implement necessary adjustments to maintain schedules and budgets.
Conduct regular site visits to assess project status, safety compliance, and quality control.
Prepare and present project reports and updates to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction industry.
Proven experience managing projects related to DOT, pipelines, underground utilities, sewer systems, roads, paving, and asphalt.
Strong knowledge of project management software and tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
