Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Commercial Construction division. The ideal candidate will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, including scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Manage project budgets and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of construction work.
• Ensure compliance with construction safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of project tasks.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure adherence to building codes and regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring effective change management practices are followed.
• Allocate resources efficiently to optimize project performance and outcomes.
• Oversee on-site management, ensuring smooth operations and coordination among various teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction industry.
• Proven experience with budgeting and financial management in construction projects.
• Strong contract negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor and subcontractor partnerships.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes and best practices.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and construction safety regulations.
• Experience in risk management and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, ensuring alignment among all parties involved in the project.
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in change management and resource allocation in a construction context.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and scheduling skills.
