Project Designer (Civil)

Position Overview
The Project Designer (Civil) will be responsible for leading the design and planning of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and project management skills to deliver high-quality designs that meet client expectations and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Prepare and review construction documents, including plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
  • Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather necessary data for design.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and modeling purposes.
  • Perform cost estimation and budgeting for projects to maintain financial viability.
  • Coordinate with geotechnical engineers to assess site conditions and incorporate findings into design.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in civil design and project management.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Strong understanding of structural design and site development principles.
  • Knowledge of land surveying and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in preparing construction documents and specifications.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to perform cost estimation and budgeting activities.
  • Familiarity with geotechnical engineering concepts is a plus.
