Title: Production Supervisor - 1st shift 
Location: Mokena, IL (on-site)
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 + 10% bonus 
Requirements: 3+ years in a leadership role with lean + six sigma experience

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team in Mokena, IL. This will be for 1st shift, 7:30am - 4pm; Monday-Friday. We've been very successful for over 50 years, while consistently growing year over year - with an average tenure of 8 years!

 

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include coordinating machine shipments, managing aftermarket assemblies, and collaborating with Engineering, Service, Sales, Inventory Control, Finance, and Sourcing for timely deliveries. The role also involves leading process improvement sessions, enhancing machine designs, and maintaining KPI reports.

 

What you will do:

  • Supervise and manage production activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing ideas and data for successful execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices in production.
  • Train technicians, ensure their success, and provide regular feedback.
  • Create Engineering Change Notices, suggest machine design improvements, and calculate ROI.
  • Monitor production standards to ensure timely output.
  • Promote shop floor organization and maintain cleanliness.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Six Sigma Certification would be ideal
  • Machine Assembly background or similar preferred
