Medical Malpractice Litigation Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Malpractice Litigation Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and a passion for representing clients in medical malpractice cases. This position involves handling all aspects of case management from initial client consultations to trial preparation, ensuring the highest quality legal representation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research related to medical malpractice cases.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and during mediation or arbitration.
  • Manage case files and maintain organized documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their cases and potential outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 2+ years of experience in litigation, preferably in medical malpractice or personal injury law.
  • Strong skills in legal research and writing.
  • Proven trial preparation and courtroom experience.
  • Excellent negotiation and client representation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in the healthcare sector.
