Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Night Shift (Hours to be determined later)
Location: Oxford, NC 27565
Hourly: $28 - $32 / HR
Working Days: There is Shift A (Sunday - Wednesday) or Shift B (Wednesday - Saturday)
Founded in 1983 we are an international leader in thermal bond non-wovens (textile manufacturing). We have locations in Israel, Italy and the United States with this 140 employee facility in Oxford, NC. Some of the industries we cater to include hygenic & industrial market, nonwovens and baby/adult care. For our facility in Oxford we are targeting to hire a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician who can work nights to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing
Apply knowledge of carding machines to minimize downtime as they are rewired, maintained or repaired
Ensure assigned preventive maintenance orders are completed timely
Provide mechanical maintenance support to all areas of production & facilities
Maintains mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems incl: pumps, motors, gearboxes, cylinders, bearings, sprockets etc
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions & restore to operational level
What You Need for this Position
5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing
Experience w/ mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems
Exposure to the nonwovens industry & equipment is ideal
Ability to troubleshoot all equipment on production floor
