Position Overview
We are a manufacturing company that has been around for over 80 years and specializes in manufacturing custom electric motors. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machinist specializing in CNC operations to join our team. This role is essential for driving precision and quality in our manufacturing processes, ensuring that all components meet stringent specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines and other related equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the machining requirements.
Program CNC machines using G-Code and ensure accurate execution of specifications.
Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with tolerances.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and machining processes.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming.
Proficient in G-Code programming and experienced with CAD/CAM software.
Strong understanding of machining techniques and processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
