Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Salary: $65k-$75k Depending on Experience

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks on various equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning.
Perform repairs and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Assist in equipment start-up and shut-down procedures.
Document and maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.
Implement and follow lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safety during maintenance tasks.
Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
Familiarity with food and beverage manufacturing processes and related regulations (GMP, FDA, USDA).
Basic understanding of PLC systems and their operation.
Ability to work with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with repair and testing of various types of equipment and regulators.
Certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
