Lead Superintendent

Position Overview
The Lead Superintendent will oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Lead Superintendent will lead and coordinate the activities of the construction team while maintaining effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations on construction sites to ensure work is progressing according to schedule.
Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors and laborers on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
Monitor project progress, adjust schedules as necessary, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
Review plans and specifications to determine project requirements and assist in resolving technical issues.
Conduct regular inspections of work being performed to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with wood frame and multi-family construction is a plus.
