Lead Frontend Engineer
Location: Onsite in Los Angeles, CA open to remote

Salary: $165-200k DOE

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lead Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading frontend development projects, ensuring high-quality code, and mentoring junior developers. This role will focus on creating responsive web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the frontend development team in building responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js and TypeScript.
Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical challenges.
Implement web performance optimization strategies to enhance application speed and user experience.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and maintainability of applications.
Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
Manage version control using GIT and ensure proper branching and merging strategies are followed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Proficiency in Vue.js and TypeScript is required.
Experience with responsive design and web performance optimization.
Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
Knowledge of version control systems, particularly GIT.
Understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into frontend applications.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Mocha is a plus.
Leadership experience and ability to mentor others in the team.
