Insurance Defense Paralegal

Location: Center City, Philadelphia

Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 Base Salary commensurate with experience + Discretionary Bonus + PTO/401k and Comprehensive Benefits

About Us: We're a well-established national defense litigation law firm headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa., is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join our dynamic team! Our clients benefit from our litigators' collective experience in a variety of practice areas including appellate, automotive liability, bad faith, civil rights, class action, construction defects and site injuries, crane and rigging litigation, environmental and toxic tort litigation and coverage, excess insurance litigation, fire and arson claims, governmental liability, immigration reform litigation, insurance coverage, labor and employment law, liquor liability/dram shop, premises liability, products liability, professional liability, subrogation, and transportation.

Position Overview: We're looking for a Paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience to support our busy team. This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in our Philadelphia office and two days working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage large-scale document production cases
Conduct research and analysis
Maintain excellent organizational and time management practices
Communicate effectively, both written and verbal
Work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work overtime as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience
Excellent organizational, time management, research, and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
Experience in managing large-scale document production cases

Highly Desired:

Proficiency with case management/document review software
Experience in personal injury litigation
Experience in subpoena practice
Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Certificate
