Electrical Estimator

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate estimates for electrical projects, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and that budgets are adhered to. The Electrical Estimator will collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop comprehensive proposals, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to prepare detailed estimates for electrical work.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to clarify project requirements and specifications.
Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to create accurate project budgets.
Prepare and submit competitive bids to clients and stakeholders.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure reliability.
Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure compliance with estimates throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical estimating software and tools.
Possession of an Industrial Electricians License is highly preferred.
Familiarity with motor control systems and rigid conduit installation.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to assess project costs accurately.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with clients and vendors.
