Field Engineer

Position Overview
The Field Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems and controls. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients and project teams to ensure that all engineering requirements are met while delivering superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to determine HVAC system requirements and specifications.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to optimize performance.
Provide technical support and training to clients and team members on HVAC systems and controls.
Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely project completion and adherence to quality standards.
Document all field activities, including service reports and project updates, in a clear and concise manner.
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in HVAC systems installation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and controls, including TCP/IP protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
