Electrical Estimator

Position Overview
The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring that bids meet project requirements and budget constraints. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to analyze project specifications and drawings to create detailed bid proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects based on project specifications and drawings.
Analyze and review project plans and specifications to determine all necessary materials, labor, and timelines.
Develop and submit bid proposals that outline project costs and timelines for client approval.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information and ensure accurate estimates.
Monitor and track bid submissions and project costs to assist in future project planning.
Maintain a database of past project costs and estimates for reference in future bids.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
Proficient in estimating software and tools for bid preparation.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for calculating costs and project timelines.
Effective communication skills to present proposals and collaborate with team members.
