Job Title: Conversational AI Analyst

Contract length: 6-8 months

Location: Glendale, CA (HYBRID - work from home Mondays & Fridays)

Pay rate: $40-$53/hour 

Requirements: 3+ years NLP experience 

Voted as Best Local Bank by San Diego Magazine, we are a highly regarded financial institution with almost 100 years of experience serving customers from San Diego to Los Angeles. We're currently looking for a Conversational AI Analyst to join our Los Angeles team on a conversational AI project. The length of the project is 6-8 months with potential to convert to a full-time employee. 

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing engaging and effective conversation flows for our AI-powered interfaces to enhance user experience and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop conversational AI solutions that meet our business objectives and user requirements.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to integrate conversational AI features into our products.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve conversational flows.
• Implement natural language processing tools to enhance AI understanding and responsiveness.
• Monitor and analyze AI interaction performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance functionality and user satisfaction.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in conversational AI and suggest innovations.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders to gather high-level requirements and capture business needs.
• Clearly articulate and document business requirements.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with business partners to ensure IT satisfaction.
• Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate system designs and validate proposed solutions.
• Plan and lead the testing and validation process for enhancements, releases, hot fixes, upgrades, and implementations.
• Communicate effectively with outside vendors, internal staff, and executive staff.
• Serve as the subject-matter expert for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Measure the effectiveness of CAIP solutions using analytics.
• Stay aware of market trends in CAIP product technology and applications.
• Utilize a hybrid approach for technology.
• Develop applications for both agent assist and customer-facing virtual assistants.
• Participate in special projects to include testing, analysis and integration of internal systems and applications.

Must have skills: 

• 3+ years of experience designing AI-driven interaction systems
• Experience with prompt intensive conversational NLP

Nice to have skills: 

• APIs
• Webhooks 

This is a HYBRID role (3 days in-office from Tuesday to Thursday).
