Position Overview:
The Business Product Development Manager will play a crucial role in the success of our company by leading the development of new products that will drive growth and profitability. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development process, from initial concept to market launch. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of product development and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and competition
- Develop product roadmaps and strategies to ensure the timely and successful launch of new products
- Analyze market trends and data to make informed decisions on product development
- Manage cross-functional teams to execute the product development process, including design, testing, and launch
- Utilize project management tools to track progress and ensure project deadlines are met
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies
- Implement agile development methodologies to improve efficiency and flexibility in product development
- Ensure products meet quality standards through rigorous testing and evaluation
- Manage product lifecycles, including updates and end-of-life decisions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in product development and project management
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products and managing product lifecycles
- Strong market research and analysis skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools
- Knowledge of data analysis and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Familiarity with product design and testing processes
- Understanding of quality standards and regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
