In this role, you will work as a member of our Audit & Assurance Services team, where you will mentor and train Audit Associate level staff.
You will have the opportunity to build close relationships with the clients you work with, and you will be involved with continuing professional education and career development programs, including a Future Leaders group.
As a part of our Audit & Assurance services team, you may be asked to work with one or all of the following areas: Agreed Upon Procedures & Examinations; Audit Review & Compilation; Due Diligence Services; Employee Benefit Plan Audits; and SOC Audits.
Job responsibilities, include:
- Preparing audit, review, and/or compilation work programs
- Supervising and training associates
- Reconciling intercompany payables and receivables
- Reviewing, documenting, and evaluating internal controls
- Determining possible contingent liabilities by corresponding with attorneys, examining minutes, contacting clients, etc.
At least 3 years experience as an associate in a public accounting firm or equivalent work experience, with:
- College degree in accounting - REQUIRED
- CPA license, CIA certification, and/or other appropriate professional designations - PREFERRED
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Familiarity with accounting software programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to meet time constraints and deadlines
- An inclusive and professional demeanor that supports our positive work environment
- Data analysis skills - PREFERRED
- Motivation to develop the skills and qualifications necessary to become a future firm leader - PREFERRED
- The desire to build relationships with professional peers in the business community - PREFERRED
- The ability to speak multiple languages - PREFERRED
- Competitive Base Salary - $75K-$95K (depending on experience and skillset)
