A & P Mechanic

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled A & P Mechanic to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of aircraft to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft systems including airframe, engines, and avionics.
Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft to identify any issues or necessary repairs.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in aircraft systems.
Follow FAA regulations and safety procedures during all maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate technical documentation of work performed and parts used.
Assist in engine overhauls and major repairs as necessary.
Work with hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to improve maintenance processes.

Qualifications

Valid A & P (Airframe and Powerplant) license from the FAA.
Proven experience as an A & P Mechanic or similar role in the aviation industry.
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and safety standards.
Experience with airframe repair and powerplant repair.
Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
Knowledge of inspection techniques for aircraft components.
